Golf Ontario believes golf is a sport for everyone, no matter their abilities, age or background. This new initiative aims to financially support Golf Ontario’s work in growing golf participation across the province, especially in underrepresented groups.

Join us for a day of golf, competition and fun as we raise critical funds to advance Golf Ontario’s Junior Performance programs. The 2024 Junior Golf Drive date and location will be released in spring of 2024!

Participation in Girl’s and Women’s Golf
You are ensuring the participation, development and success of female golfers, new and experienced, continue to advance. From networking or corporate events, Women’s Try Program, to increasing numbers of junior girls hitting the course – this pillar aims to grow golf programming designed to specifically target women and girls in Ontario.

Supporting Indigenous Golf
Golf for All is a statement that is important to Golf Ontario. This includes opening more opportunities for Indigenous communities to play and compete in the great game of golf. Funding in this area directly expands initiatives such as the Indigenous Ontario Championship.
Indigenous golfers have made significant contributions to the sport, both provincially and nationally. By donating to Indigenous golf initiatives, you are developing talented Indigenous golfers, leading to increased representation at various levels of the sport. This strengthens the overall golfing community and enriches the sport through diverse perspectives and skills.

Advancing Adaptive Golf
In alignment with Golf Ontario’s vision of Golf for All. Your investment will go to fund increased opportunities for individuals of all abilities to play golf.
Supporting this pillar helps challenge stereotypes and change perceptions about individuals with adaptive needs, as it does not need to limit a person’s ability to participate in sports or lead fulfilling lives.

Junior Golf Pathways to Performance
The Junior Golf Pathway helps junior golfers in Ontario reach their highest potential. From competitive play to beyond, your funds will ensure junior players who are on Team Ontario, or are in the Golf Ontario Performance program, have the financial assistance they need to achieve success.

Scholarships
Golf Ontario encourages the athletic and academic success of our young golfers by offering financial assistance though scholarships. Your funds will help young people use the great game of golf to achieve their potential.

Youth Development
Fostering the growth of Youth Development in essential to safeguarding the future of golf in Ontario and advancing GOLF FOR ALL.
Investments in this fund supports programs aimed at introducing golf and its positive values to young people. You will ensure important programs like Youth on Course Ontario, which enables youth ages 18 and under to enjoy golf at $5 (or less) per round, have the financial backing to continue providing accessible and affordable golf to youth.

As a member Provincial Association of Golf Canada, and partnered with the Golf Canada Foundation which holds charitable status, all donations in support of fundraising priorities within Ontario will flow through and be receipted by the Golf Canada Foundation. Funds will then be managed and deployed as required by Golf Ontario.
Golf Canada Foundation is a recognized Canadian Amateur Athletic Association by the Canada Revenue Agency.
Donations of $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt from Golf Canada Foundation
