Why an Internship with Golf Ontario?

Application Process

Step 1: Application – Applications may be submitted to jobs@gao.ca and will be reviewed by HR and the hiring Manager.

Step 2: Interviews – Candidates will be contacted via email to schedule an interview via ZOOM where HR and the Hiring Manager will ask relevant knowledge and skills related questions.

Step 3: Selection – Candidates selected to work with Golf Ontario will be contacted and will be required to provide references and to undergo screening, including a background check.

Step 4: Training and Orientation – Interns will be trained on all policies and procedures with HR and the Hiring Manager to ensure a thorough understanding prior to their start date.

Step 5: Work Terms – Most work terms will run from the end of April to the end of August.

*Golf Ontario will continue to comply with all provincial and municipal orders and guidance in the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 and thus the incumbent will be required to work from home and attend to the office periodically as needed until we are able to return safely to the office.
