What is a Golf Community?
A Golf Community is a collective group of local golf stakeholders (owners, operators, Pro's, players, enthusiasts, etc...) working together to drive more people to play more golf, more often, starting at a younger age.
Golf Ontario is committed to supporting Communities and the programs and events they are running, through the development of a community grant program. Community grants are available for a variety of programs and events.
Complete the request form for each program/event you are seeking support.
All applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified as to how many grants they will be awarded. Grants will be awarded based on demand and applicants will be placed on a waiting list depending on availability. They will be subsequently notified if/when a grant becomes available.
Grants are available in the following categories:
- Future Links Driven by Acura - Get Linked Grants (In school visits and field trips) - apply here
- Adult Learn to Play - Learn to Play Better

Why are we building Golf Communities?
We have been listening!
The growth of our game, and any programs developed to support our game, are only successful if they provide added value to our local golf communities. When local golf communities come forward ready to work together, Golf Ontario will support local efforts that drive new and returning golfers to TRY, LEARN & PLAY golf at local golf facilities.
