Mike Martz: Team Waterloo Regional Coach
Bsc. Kinesiology, PGA of Canada Class A Professional
Mike joins Waterloo’s Regional Team with a vast coaching knowledge. His degree in
Kinesiology coupled with 25 years CPGA experience has given Mike a sound, scientific
understanding of human movement and how it should be taught and learned. Mike
has been involved with the CPGA as a consultant for pilot teaching programs,
conducted ball striking clinics with Canadian legend Moe Norman, initiated and
conducted clinics for golfers with disabilities and worked with the Special Olympians.
Most recently Mike has become Certified as a Coach for New Competitors and trained
as a Coach for Developing Competitors with the PGA of Canada and Golf Canada.
Mike also holds certification levels with US Kids and the Positive Coaching Alliance.
Angella Lee: Team Waterloo Strength and Conditioning Consultant
Bsc. Kinesiology, TPI, Can-Fit Pro PTS, ISSA Sports Nutrition
Angella is focused on developing junior golfers into strong athletes. She is currently the
strength and conditioning coach of the Whistle Bear Junior Team in Cambridge. She
also does one-on-one training with individuals dealing with injuries and aiding in
rehabilitation. Angella has her TPI certification and is focused on increasing her
knowledge concerning developing athletes. Angella is looking forward to making a
difference and helping young athletes reach their goals.
