As the governing body for golf in Ontario, we take pride in helping to grow the game of golf through many junior golf initiatives, including Golf in Schools and Team Ontario. With this in mind, Golf Ontario is excited to let you know that we have launched the 2020 edition of the 12 Days of Golf.
This year, all the proceeds will go to support junior programs across Ontario, including the launch of First Tee in 2021. This exciting new program enables youth to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with life skills curriculum, First Tee creates learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that youth carry in everything they do. All of Golf Ontario's junior programs help shape the lives of young people from all walks of life, by reinforcing values like integrity, respect, and perseverance through the game of golf. And it is making a difference. These young people are the golfers of tomorrow.
This online auction takes place between December 7th to 18th, 2020 and is one of the key fundraising initiatives to support and develop junior golf in Ontario. This program is a perfect chance for you to treat yourself, or to secure a holiday gift for your friends and loved ones, at the best private and public courses in the province. There are some incredible courses, and we hope that you will take the time to look and bid on some of these foursomes and packages.

Mike Kelly, Executive Director of Golf Ontario explains: “One of the most important things we do at Golf Ontario is to help grow the game of golf through our many junior golf initiatives including Golf in Schools and Team Ontario, We share a strong passion for golf with the province’s golf community, and are proud to be united in further growing the province’s number one participation sport. 12 Days of Golf is one of our shining examples of that”
Kelly further explains that it is the generous contributions of member clubs that make this program possible. “First and foremost, we would like thank all of our member clubs for their extremely important partnership. Without their generous contribution of foursomes, we wouldn’t be able to make this campaign the success that it is. Secondly, this program comes at the perfect gift-giving time for golfers to treat themselves, or to secure a gift for their friends and loved ones at over 160 of the best private and public courses in the province, all while contributing to junior golf development”, said Kelly.
